For your own first aid kit we recommend
an insect repellent, antihistamine creme/tablets and a painkiller such
as Ibuprofen :

After a Scandinavian project in 2009 the WHO declared malaria had been successfully eradicated on Zanzibar.
Payment
Even credit cards are mostly accepted, you should have some cash on hands i.e.for the market or tips .
At the ATM machines
you can withdraw money with Maestro, Master and Visa Credit Card - you
will need your PIN Code.
Immigration and Visa Fee
To enter Zanzibar from an international
flight you need a visa.
The easiest way is to apply Online Visa in advance.
Your passport has to be valid for at least 6 months
beyond the date of your stay.

In case your previous stay in a yellow fever infested country you extended more than 12 hours you need a Yellow Fever vaccination.
COVID 19
Fully vaccinated travellers are exempted from any test requirements. Travellers must present a valid vaccination certificate with QR code upon arrival.
Not fully vaccinated travellers/unvaccinated travellers are required to present a negative RT-PCR or NAAT certificate with QR code obtained within 72 hours before departure.
